THE BIG GAY AGENDA
Economic Justice Self-identified LGBT people earn less and are more likely to live in poverty than their heterosexual counterparts. An LGBT person of color is even more likely to live in poverty.
Representation In spite of having slightly more registered voters (by percentage), self-identified LGBT people vote in the same percentage as the national average, which is sadly, only 50%.
Equality Over half of self-identified LGBT people live in a swing or conservative state which often (though not universally) harbors laws inhibiting freedoms for LGBT people.
